  1. Perfect - that should work. Will try it out and post my results. Still relatively new to this app.
  2. I may try a really deep arched door way. Might work. I also might draw it in Sketchup and then import.
  3. I have a 45 angle on the corners of the house (wife insists despite my pleas to make this easier lol). Added hidden walls to make the roofline simple and square. The problem is that the framing for these walls remains and cuts into the deck. Nothing obvious in the wall settings to hide this. The triangle area is set to 'Open to Below'. I then changed this to "Deck" and after a ton of hacking I am close - just can't get the decking to turn 45 degrees despite setting the plank angle on that small desk section. Is this the best way or if there another solution?
  4. Just foyer area as you step in - like this attached photo. Forgot I had this and should have included.

    Arched Ceiling?

Looking to arch this entryway (like attached photo) - not really obvious to me how you do this.
  6. Yup - probably the way to go. If I set that to a separate roof group it has 90% of the work done and then I just need to re-connect the rooflines.
  7. I have a typical garage on the side of the house. The issue is the trusses are automatically running lengthwise (long) vs widthwise (shorter) resulting in some crazy trusses. I know that at the end of the day these will get final custom designed from the supplier - just trying to make this look right and also help with the bill of materials to estimate. I understand roof groups and that sort of helps except that the roof then stops at the end of the garage. Any ideas here besides manual roof panels?
  8. I figured out the terrain hold poly line thing and it still didn't fix. Then I watched your video (a second time with sound on) and the light bulb went off. I just bumped the room out as an over hang from the basement foundation assuming that this was ok - clearly not. I added a random box bay window and the issue does not repeat. Good post for the next person that does this. I then discovered that I had multiple terrain holes over top of each other - once I deleted them all I am good to go now.
  9. Slab does "cover" the hole except you can't make a slab follow terrain. No settings I can see to add a soffit at ground level or do this "correct way" (what is the correct way?)
  10. Clicking on it did nothing. This is no where to be found in the app help or the online knowledge base.
  11. Seems to just be "Make Terrain Holes Around Buildings"
  12. Yes - i can see the Edit Toolbar after selected the terrain perimeter. Now what?
  13. Thanks for the heads up on this - I think I have it displayed now.
  14. Can't seem to figure this out. I have a couple of bump outs and the terrain is missing under them.
  15. I just came back to say I figured that out - lol What's the easiest way to draw the structure under here? Not super critical - just for "show".
