Hello I am looking for a way to raise up the center wall and gable to make the center gable have a little different from the two side gables. Just looking to make the front wall under that gable about 2' taller. I have tried raising the ceiling heights in the room under this gable but that did not resolve the issue. I also tried manually adjusting this gable but that didn't seem to work either. Home Designer Pro 2024 Thanks in advance.

Hello and thanks in advance. I am looking for a way i can have auto roof rebuild turned off but when I move a specific exterior wall, I can go in and automatically update the roof to cover this 1 wall change without doing anything else to the other roof planes. Home designer pro 2024

The back porch is the area on the top of the plan that is 16'6" wide, and the dining area is to the left of there at 14'4" wide. The roof over that section is what I am asking about. I am not sure what style I am looking for, I am just looking for ideas on how I can make it look better. I do not like how there is an extra ridge over those rooms due to the raised ceiling heights. An idea I had was a shed roof to change the pitch over this area, but just and idea and I am unable to get it to work (I have tried everything I can think of)

Hello all, I am attempting to draw a plan, and am struggling a bit on the roof. My goal is to make all the common areas 10' ceilings and the other rooms to be 9' ceilings. When I change the areas to 10', it also changes the roof layout. I completely understand why it does this, but I am looking for a suggestion on how I can make it look better. Pictures below show the plan and roof with 9' throughout, and the how the roof changes when I add 10' ceilings to some rooms. I do not like how the roof sticks out over the backporch area and dining area. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for me to make this look more appealing, thanks! I am using Home Designer Pro 2024.

Hello all, I am attempting to build a shed roof (flatter pitch) over a back porch but after watching videos I am still at a loss. It appears all I need to do is make the pitch less over the porch but when I attempt this it goes haywire. I have attached photos of what the roof currently is set to, the floor plan, and the roof I am attempting to draw. Thanks in advance. Using Home Designer Pro 2024.
