    Thanks for both responses. I was unable to find the "Basic" column in the library even after updating. I was able to create a cylinder and resize it to show the columns on the plans.

    I'm working on designing the interior of my existing basement. I've got the footprint complete and now I need to show the existing 3x3 steel columns in their existing locations. I can't find any column objects that fit to place these. Any advice? Edit: I'm using Home Designer Suite 2024
