I was able to fix this problem by checking the high shed / gable wall and roof cuts wall at bottom options.

Hello, I am (unsuccessfully) trying to create a L-shaped house that has a 4 / 12" pitch on the long side of the L, then has a 12"/12" pitch on the short side. Each end of the long side has a gable end (4 /12") and the one short end has a gable end (12/12). My problem is that the exterior wall under the 4/12 pitch is not filling in (I can see the interior walls).
Any help would be most appreciated.
