Won't that create two sets of columns?

I use Home Designer Architect 2024. When I create a two story porch and then place windows on the second floor (under the porch roof) the windows do not show up on the perspective view . I have found that I can place them on the first level and drag them up to the approximate place. When I do that I can see both windows on the perspective view. Please help.
