I am working on a remodel project and I am putting together a few drawings that will show wall and door locations with dimensions. I don't want the drawings to be too busy so I want page 1 to be wall locations, page 2 to be door locations, page 3..., etc. If I delete my dimensions on my plan to setup for page 2, they update as they should on page 1. I have searched for a setting to turn off the update for a page once I am finished.
I tried opening up a new plan view in hopes each layout page would be connected to the corresponding plan view that sent the information, but no luck.
Possible Solutions:
Create a new layout for each page
- I think this is my best solution if the one I am looking for doesn't exist. I don't like the fact that when I want to print the layout again, I would have to print each page individually. Not a huge deal, but it negates the feature of having 5 pages per layout.
Save as Image to layout
- I don't like this idea since it removes the option to 'right click' and "open view" to reload the setup and make changes quickly.
