I am willing to remove the crown molding from the bonus room as it isn't really needed there. But for future reference, is there a way to adjust it so it isn't sticking out through the roof but is still in the room? I am using Home Designer Pro 2023 (I added to my signature, thanks!)

I have added a bonus room above the garage using the existing roof. It includes a dormer. Everything looks great except some of the crown molding from the dormer walls and the walls at the front and back of the bonus room poke through the roof. Any tips how to get rid of that?
