  1. Okay, I've found where the problem is occurring, but still no idea why. See the attached images. I copied the first floor into a new file, and it was still not rendering the upper roof. I started deleting wall bits piecemeal, and lo and behold: it's something to do with the upper right protrusion. When I delete it, the roof generates as it should. Is there any way to figure out why this is happening? Again, I have an earlier version of this floorplan where that part of the house is identical, yet it did not have a problem with the roof autobuild. Thanks!
  2. solver: thanks for checking that. Jo_Ann: I actually still experienced the problem even deleting the 5th floor of the tower. It can't be a height limit, I've done designs with towers like that before in the program without issue. In fact, this plan is a reworking of another with almost the exact same layout where the issue did not occur. It is very strange! Would that I had upgrading to 2022 in my budget...
  3. Thanks for the reply. I've no idea what that error code is. There's no interior floor plan--almost no interior walls at all even, it's mostly just exterior walls. The plan file is well under the 14mb size limit, so I'm not sure what the problem is. I'll try to keep uploading it, but I did get a capture of the 3rd floor here.
  4. Hello! I cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix this roof problem in Home Designer Pro 2019. I've done much more complicated/larger roofs, and never had the problem shown here where the floor 3 roof planes don't fully generate and just stop at a certain height. They are 20" pitch, and don't have a 2nd pitch chosen. The roof for the big square tower isn't generating at all (would be floor 5). (I tried to upload the home plan file itself, but kept getting an "Error Code -200" message, so had to settle for jpegs). Thanks for any help!
