Since most of what my team does is renovation work, the only control we have over framing is the new work we install... I was looking for a way to visualize the path of new plumbing as it relates to existing plumbing and framing, hence the original question. I have found a few apps that might help, but have mostly just given in the the old-school method of mock-up and measure... for others looking for similar, maybe try Quickplumb or HousecallPro apps?

That didn't do it... but while in Preferences I clicked on 'Reset Options' and basically reset everything... now the only issue I have - that I know of - is that my drawing is in B+W instead of color, per below image. Any takers on how to get back to color? I know most of you know.

Folks, the title pretty much says it all... I was working with HDP this afternoon, and did a screen capture which I pasted into Paint. I went back to HDP and the image was now in B+W and all my menus except "File Edit Tools Help" had disappeared... how do I fix this?

Hi, all! I'm working on building a kitchen island - about 4' x 6', images of similar attached - that will have an apron-front sink/dishwasher/cabinet along one long edge and seating along the other... my question is what's the best way to do the end panels and support skirt that runs between them on the 'seating' side of the island? thanks in advance!

New user to HDP but used CA many years ago so not TOTALLY new user... Is there a way to get 'SSA only' libraries into HDP? I'd like to access some of the manufacturer's libraries instead of using 'default' cabinets, but the ones I'm interested in (well, ALL of the ones I saw on the 3D Library site...) all say 'SSA Only'... any workarounds? Other than shelling out the $$$ for Chief X12/13 I mean.

I’m new to HDP, used CA way back in version 10 for a few years. When we design home renovations (my team, I mean) we typically do the layout for plumbing and electrical as well. I have too many horror stories of ‘leaving the layout to the trade’ to risk letting them do the layout - to be honest, mostly plumbers… Is there a way - easy or not - to use HDP for this layout, OTHER than making my own library of 1-1/2”, 2” and 3” PVC pipe and fittings? This mostly has to do with spacing/routing within wall and floor cavities, vs. cutting/reframing to fit the plumbers’ layout.
