Hello,

Please could someone advise on how to create an arched recess with molding before a doorway as pictured in the attached photograph. I can accomplish the arched recess using a wall niche, but then I am unable to add a doorway behind it.

I have also attached my plan file and a screenshot of the floor plan on which I have circled in red the wall on which this needs to go.

Thank you, I now am actually using HomeDesigner Suite 2022 (I was just using a ChiefArchitect trial), so I will leave this here. Thank you for your response on ChiefTalk. Would you be able to tell me how you made that visual (attached)? It is exactly what I need.

Hello,

I am trying to find the best way to model a Georgian window, with an angled inset into the wall's thickness, and a window along the inner edge (see the attached image). Note that this isn't a box window - there is no "bump out" - the window is set into the wall. I thought about using a wall niche, but I do not know how to create the angle. 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
