Draw them with CAD lines? I'm sorry, I'm very new to this.

I drew CAD lines with the Cut Finish Layers off but I don't understand how else to draw the styles + rails.

How do I get the CAD lines to show up in the 3D image? The only thing that comes up in 3D view is the white area without the CAD lines.

I am trying to creating board + batten that goes horizontally along a wall then angles up along the stairs. I have watched one video that shows how to dot it with CAD lines but those tips don't seem to be helping. I am using Home Designer Pro 2021.
