Using Home Designer Architectural. Referring to the Structure dialogue 1. How can we reduce Stem Wall to zero to allow floor stepdown to an external Porch / Patio? The software defaults to 100mm and will not let me change it. 2. The above applies in reverse to the Garage Floor. 2. How can we adjust Floor Structure depth? The Software defaults to 318mm (12.5"), and I need 400mm (15.75").

1. Can the CAD object only be placed in the cross-section in 2D? Is it possible to show it in the plan with contouring to enable inclusion in new cross-sections? 2. Is there a way that the CAD object be used for volume calculation in the HD Architectural software? 3. How do we remove the background colourings in a cross section, such that we just see a black and white cross-section image as is normal for architectural drawings?

Using Home Designer Architectural, how can we design a Monolithic Concrete slab, such that we can lower the external Porch and Patio areas by 100mm whilst retaining these areas as part of the Monolithic Slab? HD Architectural only permits this if Auto Rebuild Foundation is turned off. If AR Foundation is unchecked the M/Slab is completely removed from the lowered areas and it adversely affects adjacent floor areas and beams. Similarly, if we wish to bring the Garage Floor Level up to the same as the Internal Areas, the Auto Rebuild Foundation needs to be unchecked, which messes up the intended Foundation design in other areas to the extent that it projects a sliver of concrete rising through a first and second floor external column and even through the roof. Perhaps this requires a simple adjustment by the Home Designer Software Team?

Using Home Designer Architectural, how can we design an inground pool showing concrete pool floor (200mm thick) and concrete walls (200mm thick) with contoured levels to show shallow (say, 1200mm) and deep (say, 1800mm) ends in a 3D / Cross Section view?
