  1. it belongs straight down from where it is. When I click below the roof around all sides no other object appear. If you want an actual picture of the structure I can post one. This whole structure is all existing. (it's a 1930 depression home). I'm try to draw this portion as close as I can to actual first before I begin the addition which should be easier than this . 

     

    Auto roof is off when I checked. I tried to attach the whole file but it would let me and the file isn't that big?

  2. So I try this again. I'm just learning the ways and haven't done any cad type drawing in well over 20yrs. 

    I have a gable roof. The two supporting walls are different heights. 27" wall (2nd floor) and 43" wall (2nd floor) how do I get the roof to sit where it belongs?
