Oh, good grief! I should have thought of that. Thanks! That was it.

Sandman51 started following Terrain perimeter is not visible
-
I know that I have a terrain polygon on my plan because I can see and manipulate it in 3D view, however it is not visible when I view the plan. I don't see it on any level, therefore, I can't create terrain data lines or create a terrain. If I start a new plan and create a terrain perimeter, it is visible in that new plan. I am not aware that there is any way to turn visibility on or off. Anybody got any ideas? I am using HomeDesigner Pro 2021 on a Mac Mini running OS 11.6.1

I want to set the wall so that the sheathing is flush with the foundation, not overlapping as HomeDesigner does it. Does anyone know of a way to do this? The illustration shows how HD did it for me.

Yes, I did search, but could find out what I needed to know only this morning. I must have not been asking the right question.

This has to be a stupid question, but the instructions don't seem to address this issue. When you send plan views to a layout do you need to save each layout as a separate file? The instructions just say choose File>Send to Layout, but never say what to do when you have a new plan in view. Does a layout contain multiple pages, or separate files?

Yes, that worked. Thanks so much.

Thanks for the guidance, this is my first time asking a question. Here is an image of what I have, with rafters resting on the top plate of the wall. I want the rafters to rest on a plate on top of the joists.

How do I create a roof system where the rafters rest on the ceiling joists and not the top plates, a raised top plate?
