I have Home designer Pro 2024 and have watched the videos for making a custom backsplash, I want to make a custom backsplash from a curved polyline. This will eventually turn into a curved timber beam. I draw the polyline I want in an elevation so it is nicely in the YZ plane. When I convert the polyline to a custom backsplash, it moves it to the XY plane. How do I keep it in the YZ plane so I can then give it a thickness and material to resemble a curved timber? is there an article I have not found yet? Also, is there a way to extrude that polyline? or is that only available in the really high end version? I have built most of my timbers from boxes, but a curved one is giving me fits. Please point me to a video or a paper or an article or maybe it cannot be done in Home Designer Por?
