    I will try that. My software is Home Designer Pro 2021.

    When i create my roof, or even other large framed units, the material list generates dimensional lumber sizes that are not available to purchase. With the materials list set to "Buy List" style I am getting 2x6's that are over 32 feet in length. Is there any way to set defaults so that the designs will use multiple shorter lengths of lumber that are available to purchase off the shelf?
