Hello Eric, what do you mean with explode dormer?

Hello Eric, thanks for your advice, I activated my signature:-) I read this post But I don't think that this solution fit my needs, because of the additional attic/room walls. When I make a room and raise the ceiling, I have room walls inside the second floor, that I don't want. What I need is an empty second floor with a "dormer" without any walls inside.

Hello HomeTalk Users! I have a problem with a special kind of "dormer" (home designer pro, osx). The dormer should look like in this picture, that means in front of the dormer should be no roof (overhang). The roof should only be on the left and right side of the dormer. It should NOT look like this typical auto floating dormer, that means with a roof overhang in front. Inside the second floor it should look like this screenshot, that means only free space and no other walls inside. Thanks ahead for every solution:-) P.S.: Sorry, but english is not my first language
