Got it! Thanks for the tips.."Shadows" didn't do it, but Default Settings->3D View Defaults->Sunlight-> and turn on "sun follows camera" !! I've been struggling with this for hours! Appreciated! Virtual beer for you.

THANKS David! ...I did have very good success using the "Adjust Material Definition" function, which I had not noticed. Then I went to Texture->Material Color->set Blend with Texture, and picked 255 255 255 white and it worked. For MOST exterior walls. For a few they remain gray. Trying to figure out if it is lighting or sun angle or shade but I don't think so. But, I'm on my way! THANKS...Tom
