  1. Good point Eric, I found the release notes, so I will review features released between my version and the current version. https://www.homedesignersoftware.com/support/update-archives.html
  2. Hi, I used Home Designer Interior 2019 to mock up a bathroom renovation we did a few years back. I am now starting a new project to mock up a house extension to get a feel of what it could look like (mock up new floor plan, add materials, furnishings, etc) before we decided to (further) engage with a builder/architect. I've trying to figure out if I will get enough benefit paying to upgrade to Home Designer Architectural 2022 Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. (Have had initial conversations with professionals, have been given a couple of options on how to proceed, this is just to allow me to tinker and see what it could look like before investing money into further work)
  3. Hi, For Wall Coverings, it appears that the material list doesn't calculate expect results. It does not take into account objects such as niches, windows, doors, etc Can anyone confirm they see the same behaviour? Is this expected? It seems like a software bug Thank you.
  4. Sorry for the delay, You're correct the thinset mortar gives correct amount. Thank you.
  5. Hi, I've modelled a 600x300mm tile using the Bonus Tile library (https://www.chiefarchitect.com/3d-library/index.php?r=site/detail/903). To do this, I've taken a copy of the tile I want to modify and changed the x and y scale in the Define Material dialog. When I select a room and output the Material List the tile is shown in absolute units (e.g. 63) Couple of issues I have * Since I've scaled the original tile, I'm not sure this number shows me how many 600x300mm tiles I need. * My preference would be to see the tile amount in sq meters (similar to paint) Is it possible to change the output to sq m? (or is there a better method to model a 600x300mm tile that will give me a meaningful output in the material list? (Home Designer Interiors 2019) Thank you.
  6. Thanks, that helped a lot. I have Home Designer Interiors 2019. Break Wall was the command I used.
  7. I want to have a vertical split of materials on a single wall. Is this possible? Example for a bathroom. Left Side | Right Side Paint | Tiles
