I'm sorry to bring this up again, but I just cant seem to recreate my initial success. See the attached. The bump out roof seems to be stuck as a half gable and half hip. How can I correct this without disrupting the other dimensions? I have tried everything and rebuilt 3 times

Well I decided to start over to get the basic dimensions more accurate and now I cannot get the roof right despite trying to follow your earlier guidance. No mater what I do with the room walls, Open, enclosed- I get an odd roof on the bump out.

OK, I have created the room and tried raising and lowering the rough ceiling. But the exterior wall on the Bump does not change. Walter

Thanks Eric. I have gotten this far, but I need the wall on the 2nd floor Bump out to be about 2 feet taller, Like a dormer roof.

I'm having trouble getting the exterior wall and roof design on a second floor bump out with a gable roof. Difficult to describe, but the attached photo illustrates what I am trying to do in Chief Architect. Is this possible to design?
