This is the dialogue I found to turn on and off the Living Area, but it doesn't have any effect on the label.

The Living Area Label is not showing. I found a reference to the area label, in the Help System, but it won't turn on the label.

Is there a tool or a way of easily seeing the total square footage of the house plan? I see there is a way to display the area of the rooms in the labels, but I can't find a way to see the total area of the whole plan.

Thank you Eric... your idea about simply adjusting the height of the wall for that room worked perfectly. I have added a signature as well, I'm a newbie to this software and love it so far.

I'm looking for a way to build a second level for a single room. It's a spanish style home and I am trying to build a tower at the front of the home leading into an open courtyard. The entry tower will be open from the first level to the ceiling or exposed roof. The rest of the house will be single story. I've attached some close examples. I've tried to build a second story, but there doesn't seem to be an option for limiting by rooms. I am using Home Designer Suite 2019. Any Ideas?
