In Home Designer Suite 2016 used on a MAC with Safari Browser, my selection tool in the toolbar has a small checkmark over it. When I click on it, it is no longer an arrow, but a round thing that almost looks like an artist pallet. What has gone wrong? Thank you!

In HDSuite 2016, on a Mac using Safari browser, my selection tool icon in the toolbar has a checkmark over it. When I click on it and try to select, the arrow has been replaced by a round thing that almost looks like an artist's pallet. How can I get it back to normal? Thank you!
