Thanks David! I'm not sure exactly what all that means, but I'll do my research on the info you provided. 

After I select a material for a backsplash there's often two different materials that show up in the "Backsplash Layer Definition" box. I'd only like the one I selected to be there. I'm new so I'm probably missing something, but can't figure it out.
