I am really struggling with creating a lot size on my house. I have detailed drawing of the house itself but am not able to make the surrounding (p)lot. Can anyone help with this?

I would like to change the color of all exterior walls (so as to experiment with different paint colors), how can I do this? 

If possible I'd like to change the texture also from siding to stucco.

I'm using Home Designer Suite 2017 (Build 18.3.2.2x64)

Not quite sure how to do that, but I'm gonna try... I don't really need a deck in front either...

I'd like to add a roof to cover my front patio (see attached pic). I've tried various ways of changing the property of the wall(s) to a full gable but I can't seem to get the effect I want (a 3rd gabled roof much like the existing two gables). 

The program keeps wanting to convert it to a combined gable.

I'd really appreciate any help? Thx!!
