I have the exact same problem as the OP. It was all of a sudden. The above video did fix it. Thank you! Was driving me crazy!

I have noticed that sometimes when drawing a plan that a room divider will automatically be created and I can't delete it. It will just happen when I am drawing a wall in my plan. I am only trying to create a simple floor plan and don't need a roof design so don't have a roof showing but these dividers are annoying and can't figure out how to draw without them being created even when I don't want them.
