  1. Thank you Scott. Is there any way to import those symbols into Pro? I have downloaded Premier for students, but am leery of using it to modify my existing plans as I understand I won't then be able to access them when my student license expires in August? Please let me know if this is incorrect and I will proceed in Premier.
  2. Are these symbols in Pro? I will feel REALLY silly if they are and I just haven't found them.
  3. I would love to use the symbols for different electrical and plumbing connections in an MEP plan. Is that possible in Pro?
  4. My thoughts exactly, my professor and I both think their example with all demo and construction on one sheet was really hard to read. In the 1/2 inch scale they require it will have to be separate sheets, but I think I will still do it. Thank you. I am sure I'll be back when I dig into the MEP
  5. Thank you so much. I managed to get a new wall type saved. NKBA wants a demo and construction plan on the same sheet, but I think I may do them separately. Layering an as built window with a new door just looks messy to me. Thoughts?
  6. Is there a way to fill walls in plan-view to denote a closed opening, new stud wall, walls to be removed etc? I see the hatching option, but am looking for several other fills as well. I was hoping the fill painter would allow me to do this, but I can't seem to make that work. Thoughts?
  7. Thank you so much, that is exactly what I needed to know. I thought i was just missing that function somewhere.
  8. I would like to isolate the kitchen/mudroom area on this plan to be able to send it to layout in 1/2 scale. I would also like to use the nice "lightning bolt" break where the view cuts off. Any and all help appreciated. Thanks so much.FLOOR PLAN FOR HOMETALK.pdf
  9. Two different methods, same issue. Left is soffit with molding, right is custom backsplash with custom countertop as cap. Both want to extend and wrap at the end. Is there a way to stop that and get a butt end? I can see on the custom countertop menu that there is an option to have "molding on selected edge" but i am unsure how to use this function.
  10. Almost there. This is the soffit method. Would the custom backsplash method eliminate the extension of the molding shown here?
  11. Thank you both. I was able to get tile on an individual wall, but was unsure how to stop the "chair rail" cap from continuing around the room. I will try the soffit with molding along tat wall.
  12. Thank you rookie 65, I have done that with shower walls in the past. At the risk of sounding dense...how does one get a chair rail on just ONE wall?
  13. I am working on a historic home and the client wishes to have tile up to the door height on one wall only. Currently I am using wall covering and chair rail set at 85" to replicate the look they want, but unsure how I can do this on just ONE wall? The wall covering part is no problem, but the chair rail is my issue. Thoughts?
  14. Thanks, I have done that. Set to dull, but still reflective in any light. Thought maybe it was a rendering setting i was missing.
  15. Loving the renders with Home Designer Pro. The sunlight is beautiful, but I am wondering if I can tone down the reflective quality of the tile? I use matte glazes often and would love to render them without the reflections.
