I'm trying to do a walkthrough and after drawing the plan view path the 'record' button remains greyed out. I am able to record the walkthrough in 3D. Any ideas why 2D won't record?

Sure appreciate your help Eric.
Unfortunately, the post height nor the room divider had any effect.
I've been through many tries on this and vaguely remember at one time I got the rail to look like yours in the first pic where the top beam of the rail follows the roof slope. Now mine only looks like the third pic

Thx, plan should be attached

I've tried to make railing a gable wall but no effect.
-
Tried that to no avail. Additionally, where can i set other default wall parameters, like thickness?

I'm trying to set the default siding of my exterior walls but cannot find where the wall defaults settings are located. The help file shows a 'define' button under edit/default settings/wall but I don't have that button. How do I set wall defaults?

Thanks Eric

Would someone mind taking a look at this drawing and see if you can figure out why the foundation won't show for the room labeled 'slab'?
Thanks

Ah, worked like a charm, thanks.

I've got an old two story gable roof barn... 40'Lx36'Wx17'H. I want to butt up to the gable end of the barn with a new structure that has 12' walls and only one floor. The problem is when I add a floor (to model the existing barn) the program adds a floor over the new structure so that there is a continuous gable roof from the barn onto the new structure... I want the roof on the new structure to be stepped down and butt into the gable wall of the barn. Thanks

My question is not how to add/delete walls or add a second story. The question is with two rectangular rooms on the first floor, how do I add a second floor to only one of the rectangular rooms?
-
I've got two rectangles joined on the short side and I'd like one rectangle to be one story and the other to be two story. When I add a floor it always adds a second floor to both rectangles. How do I specify which rectangle the added floor should be applied to?

Yes... seems simple enough.
