I tried using an image of tree branches from there, but I can't rotate it to have the branches come down out of the ceiling.

I am trying to recreate a plywood reading tree from a dentist lobby. The original has artificial branches and I am trying to add them to mine. I have not found any 3D models or a way to use images to add the branches to my plan. Any ideas? None of my ideas are working.

What you posted isn't what happens when I create a custom countertop. It's not a vertical object. Mine isn't coming out the same as yours as you can see from my image. How do you create it as a vertical object?

I created the shape I want, however I am not able to get it to stand vertically so I can attach it to the cabinet. I have been trying the transform/replicate or rotate and I am not doing something right, I guess.

I am trying to get this custom object to be vertical so I can use it on the front of a cabinet. Currently it is on the floor. I use Home Designer Pro 2023.

Thank you for the reply! I drew a "picture" of what I am trying to create. I have the base cabinet with an opening. I placed a cushion inside. I will be putting a light source and I need a way to create the opening.

I am not finding images if what I want online to better illustrate what I need. I am designing a base cabinet as a cubby for a dentist office. They want a "reading nook" for children so the base cabinet would have an opening that is a circle. I can't find how to create that or a work-around in Home Designer Pro 2023. Thank you!

Nevermind. I found the answer. I highlighted the rooms in the outbuilding and then went to the dimension tool to turn on auto exterior dimensions. Now I need to figure out if I can turn off the dimensions on the main house so that the dimensions on the outbuilding can be read and not overlap.

I am using Home Designer Pro 2021. I have drawn the main house and have added a new outbuilding next to it. When I toggle the auto dimensions back on, it only shows the dimensions of the main house. I need the dimensions of the new building to show and they don't. I added an image of what I see when the auto dimensions are on.
