English Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 I have added a porch at the front of the house. How can I extend the second floor to cover this? The floor doesn't seem to exist in a form that can be manipulated. Do I use a slab instead -- not sure if that is suitable as there would not be any framing for it.? solver Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 I assume there is a room above the porch if you want to "extend the second floor to cover this". On the second floor, draw walls to form a room where you want the floor. The reference display (F9, or Tools>Reference Floor>Reference Floor Display) may help.
