Frank9474 Posted February 26, 2022 Share Posted February 26, 2022 Hello all. Really hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I am using Home Designer Suite 2019 I am having an issue while adding a shed roof over a deck with a pitch of 4/12 and it automatically changes the pitch of the upper roof to 4/12 from of 8/12. I started with changing the right railing to full gable in the plan below and the left railing is still set to hip. As a result the right side of the shed roof is properly extended to the upper roof with the proper pitches as shown in the iso. When I change the left railing however to full gable the main front of the roof matches the pitch of the porch shed. See iso's below. I have spent numerous hours today troubleshooting on my own while reading multiple threads and watching a few videos but I could not find anything specific to my issue. I am really hoping someone can help me with this. Hopefully I've given clear enough info but please let me know if anything additional is needed. Thanks in advance! I set the upper pitch per the following for the left and right front railings and got the following result. I feel like I am so close but can't figure out why the main roof raises now.
