jarrex Posted January 28, 2022 Share Posted January 28, 2022 After following these instructions on using Windows to create a screened porch (https://www.homedesignersoftware.com/support/article/KB-00748/creating-a-screen-porch.html) something happens when I use exterior walls instead of railings to create the screened porch over a walk out basement where the ground just disappears.Screenshots below show the elevation when the walls are exterior walls with "screen windows" and when at least one wall is a railing. With a wall as a "railing": With screens: And as far as I am aware, I cannot create screened porches using a railings wall type so I am not quite sure how to fix this. solver Posted January 28, 2022 Share Posted January 28, 2022 Open the Terrain. Uncheck Hide Terrain Intersected by Building Look in the Edit Toolbar for the Make Terrain Hole tool. It creates a polyline you may reshape as required. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
