Adding additions to a fully created house plan

I've created an existing model of a home and now want to add an addition to the model.  I don't see any data or information on how to do that with this software. Is it possible?

I just create some new wall definitions that define the difference between an existing wall and a new wall; 

There is also a wall hatch tool that I have used to differentiate a particular type of wall - say 'exisitng', on my drawings.

Hope that adds some thought on the subject for you.
