BldWhtfld Posted August 12, 2021 Share Posted August 12, 2021 Hello all, Can someone please explain how to change the label distance from objects in Home Designer plan view? I have a smoke detector near a hall light and the labels for each seem to overlap to mix up the two labels so I was wondering if I can make the object labels closer. Thank you! Rookie65 Posted August 12, 2021 Share Posted August 12, 2021 You can take the directional arrow when you click on the item and rotate it so the label moves to the top or either side of it. You can also open the label of the item, go to "specify label" and hit the enter key to insert more spaces should you ever need to do that as well. Sellers Posted January 16, 2023 Share Posted January 16, 2023 Thanks for confirming what I thought. The distance from the object can become troublesome for small objects like recessed lights.
