jnuzzo Posted April 19, 2021 Share Posted April 19, 2021 My Roof keeps rendering with a weird elevated center section. I have tried all manner of things to get a gable roof with what are essentially dormers on the front of the house to no avail. I am new to the software and I am sure it is a setting I'm oblivious to but I was hoping someone could point me in the correct direction. I have also attached pictures of the general look I am trying to achieve, but as you can see it does not join properly. solver Posted April 19, 2021 Share Posted April 19, 2021 Try lowering the ceiling in the space between the gables, or raising the ceiling everywhere else. Roofs build over rooms and are generally controlled via ceiling heights. You may need to create rooms that do not match the plan to make the roof build, then turn off auto rebuild roofs.
