How do I get room text to center in the room better?

Is there a way to get room text to do a better job of centering itself in a room when first adding it? I find that text often does not show up right in the middle of a room and I have to manually move it to better center it. I don't mind so much having to move room text if I want it in a different place than centered but I do get a bit tired of having to move it almost every time because the default location is not centered.

Use the centering tool .....I am not sure there is a way to make it automatic every time ,someone else make chip in with more advise

Using the centering tool still requires manual intervention on my part. I guess my point is that the software does some sort of computation to figure out where to put the text to start with. It seems like it could be doing a better job by default. Maybe this is an enhancement request?

I have no idea how they compute it, the alignment option only refers to the text within it's box I think, but you could play with the settings for the Default Room Label

 

defaults>Rooms>Room label

 

there maybe more info in the Reference Manual too?
