Fredo649 Posted February 26, 2020 Share Posted February 26, 2020 While doing a plan I think I have sent everything correctly for Dimensioning however when I add a dimension one side (arrow) snaps correctly to the framing layer the way I set it but the other side (arrow) snaps to the drywall not the framing layer (stud). You must understand that Home Designer and Chief Architect software is, well, "SOFTWARE", which is an aide but not a replacement for your competence. When the software goofs it is merely up to you to check and correct its occasional mistakes. That, if anything, is what "you are missing". This software has always been a terrific aide but it has never been nor will it ever be "Perfect". Perfection is up to you only, never anything purely mechanical.
