library items

I just got pro 15.  I can use the ICON line to select and place doors & windows.  I needed a 1/2 rd. window, I found then in the library, put I can't move them out of the library section. I can rotate them in the library window put they will not move to the plan.  What am I doing wrong???

make sure the Selection pane is open in the library view along with the Preview Pane , click on the selection window once a window is chosen, then click on the wall where you want the window to go.

Thanks, I was trying to place it in 3D, and could not get that to work.  I tried it in 2D doing as you said and I can place it.
