Issue removing doorway casing

Has anyone seen an issue removing doorway casing? I'm using Home Designer Suite 2019. I created a simple doorway on an interior wall and unselected "Use Interior Casing" in the doorway options. This will remove the vertical casing along the sides of the doorway but the casing along the top remains. Interestingly I tried this in a new drawing and I do not see the issue so it must be something with my drawing.

Just a guess. You started the plan from a template that includes a lintel over the doors. With Suite you cannot remove it.

Thank you! I believe this is correct. The original drawing that I was having the issue with was started using the Arts & Crafts template. If I start a new drawing with the same template I see the same thing. That is unfortunate that you can not remove it in Suite. I guess I will have to redo my drawing with a different template. Thank you for quick help! It's much appreciated.

OR...touch it with the 'rainbow' tool, and make it's properties transparent. 

This will also remove the crown mold if it is the same texture, but you can re-add the same texture back to the crown mold in the room materials tab.  The lintel will remain hidden.

Also you can open any Template except Colonial and Arts and Craft, draw a wall, then insert the doorway, copy and paste into

the plan then save it to the users catalog.
