Sunken shower

I have a shower that is sunken 3 1/2" below the floor level on a slab foundation. How do I put into the slab a depression that represents the shower?

If it is in its own room, just give the room a lower floor level than the rest of the bathroom.  Use Room Specification Floor: (C).  For example, if you bathroom has a floor value of 0", then enter -3.5".  If the shower doesn't have its own room, make it have one.

Thanks very much for your reply. That works very well, sort of. It turns out that it modified the outside wall of my foundation unexpectedly.  See attached pictures. I'm sure that I did something weird in the room specification, just don't know what. Thanks for your help

I'm not sure what you want the foundation to look like, but see if this plan helps.

 

You can select the wall in an exterior elevation and move the edges (bottom, sides and top) -- I've moved the middle part up so it's even with either side, and used a slab to fill in the gap. You can open the wall and reset it to its default bottom height to see.

 

You will need to have auto rebuild foundations off for this to work.

 

I probably did some other things, but that was early this morning ...
