Are you calling a "drawing" a plan file or what exactly do you mean please. It always helps to know what software you are working with and its version number and to share a copy of your plan file as well so we can see what you see. katalyst777 Posted November 30, 2015 Share Posted November 30, 2015 In Home Designer, you would usually create the basement on Floor 0, and the first floor on Floor 1, even if your existing drawing has them displayed side by side.Go through the User Guide (under the software's Help menu) if you haven't already to get a better grasp on how the software deals with multiple floors.
