Hi i am new to this and have home designer suite. I am looking to rake a ceiling from the first floor entrance to the second story standing but am unsure how to go about this or if there is a name for it if you can see pic from back of car port to top level. my plans are done and my house is being built but want to check colours and furniture. Also looking to have a 2 step raised area at entrance to if someone can help with that.

Welcome to the Forum. I have read and re-read your posts above but have no useful definition for the word "rake" the way you are using it. I do not understand what you are asking to do since I do not understand what you want to know, what it might look like or why. My advice is to just ask one question at a time and convey your question more clearly, perhaps with a photo of something that is similar or perhaps a simple, scanned sketch to communicate more clearly what you want to accomplish.

I don't think it will be easy with Suite as you have no Manual Roof Tools, but if you have a PDF of the real plans and you post the Plan file too (.make sure plan is closed in HD 1st) there are a few people here that can probably help you.

You can also add your specs to your forum signature too please (see mine below) via your Username at top right >My Settings> Signature

I call a raked ceiling a ceiling that follows the angle of the roof like in the picture. I have a second story balcony about 5 meters from the front entrance and want the ceiling and roof to angle from single story height up the the second story level. the third elevation might help to show you what i mean
