bdawson11 Posted July 26, 2015 Share Posted July 26, 2015 I am using HD Architectural 2016. I want to create my own gable roof I have followed the tutorial to a "T". And its not working, when I go to camera view there is no roof. Also I don't see the tool " join roof planes " on my mac. I wonder if this tutorial is for a pc. HDA doesn't have manual roof planes does it? , so I'd be surprised if you have the Join Roof Planes Tool either. Do you have Roof Planes displayed in the Display Options ? ..... note that EVERY view in HD has its OWN Display Options DBX.. which Tutorial are you referring too? bdawson11 Posted July 27, 2015 Author Share Posted July 27, 2015 OK somehow I solved it. I am using HDA version 17.3.1.1 OS X. And no roof planes tool for HDA. solver Posted July 27, 2015 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Suggest you spend some time watching videos on YouTube. Lots of good info. You will get a feel for how the program works. There is also a good help system within the program. Entering "gable" into the help search would have quickly provided an answer to your question.
