pvdveen Posted July 17, 2015 Share Posted July 17, 2015 I'm new to HD and using HD 2016 architectural. I would like to remove a piece out of the roof. For 2 days I'm trying to make this happen but don't find a solution. For a example I attached a JPG of the the house. Does anyone have a idea how I can make this? DavidJPotter Posted July 17, 2015 Share Posted July 17, 2015 Peter, I would need to know where you want part of the roof removed and why in order to help you. Generally speaking, Home Designer Pro would made such a job easier, where as in Architectural, you have fewer choices. In Architectural you can create a "skylight" which cuts a hole in the roof and then by using its dialog, change it into a "hole" only (every object in the software will have a dialog where some alteration is possible.)
