floridauk, yes these objects can be ungrouped with the "explode architectural block" tool.  I'm using Suite 2024.

Serviteur, if you are after the other roof planes to match at 35 deg.  You can use the join roof planes tool.  It will need to be repeated on the opposite side. See if that works.

Casey, can you repost your updated plan.  I suspect that perhaps you did not make a copy of the material and it's changing in places you don't want.

Looks like you are on the right track – making copies of the materials and changing the angle.  One additional step, is to adjust the offset of the material – I measured -2 3/8” and that worked (be sure to make a copy of the material so your other wall does not change).  See the attached screen grabs.  

It could be your video card / driver.  I would encourage you to check for driver updates, verify your system meets the specs and/or reach out to tech support

Hi Fred, you will find Trusses in Home Designer Pro under the framing tool.  Be sure to set your floor structure  thickness to get your desired depth.

Matt, there's no automatic way for the attic wall to generate due to the two roof planes near a ceiling vault.  It can easily be manually adjusted.

If you need to post the plan, you could use a zip file or post a link on a cloud drive.

It appeared in the plan view your ceiling plane was over the top of one of the walls.

Pier style foundations are not an option in Home Designer Architectural.  They are in Home Designer Pro.  You can look at the trial version here.

John, the video you were watching most likely was on “Chief Architect” – our product line for the professional designers.  One of the key features in this product line are the added dockable side windows for the (1) Project Browser and, (2) Active Layer Display Options (all Home Designer products have the (3) Library Browser).  You can learn more on the product differences of Chief Architect Premier and Home Designer Pro in this Link.

To create roads & driveways you will want to first create a terrain perimeter.  Consider switching your tools to the terrain mode (1) while working on terrains; create your terrain perimeter (2); from the terrain menu (3) you will see the road / driveway tools.

Could be the older software is not compatible with the Windows 10 update?  If you download the newer trial version, does this still happen?

Phil, it's difficult to say what the issue could be - I suggest reaching out to tech support.  If you file a support case v. calling, be sure to attach your plan.

A couple things you can check. 1) is that layer turned on in 3D? 2) if the layer is turned on, what's the elevation of your beam? 

It should be saved with your camera - if you saved your camera.  If you want as a default for every view, you can do that - see attached.

VR is scheduled to be in the next release due out this Spring.   

Jeff, the default print would create a single PDF file with all 5 pages.
