I was able to repair the out of alignment wall and roof plane edge but only in Home Designer Pro/Chief Premier. If your walls are aligned properly, floor to floor, the auto roof generator should get it right but did not in this case.

PS: if you intend to download and use the attached plan file MAKE SURE THE AUTO-ROOF GENERATOR IS OFF FIRST.
Thank you, I was afraid as much. This seems like a fairly significant bug.
Unfortunately, your fix seems to have created a gap in the wall. It looks like some framing is missing from the gable wall.
Thank you for all of your help.

Suggest sending your plan to support.

And generally, when you have a problem, post a plan showing the problem. For example, for this plan, upload a plan with settings that cause the wall to disappear.
Yes, thank you. I submitted this to support, we'll see what happens.
Here is an image for those interested in what I'm trying to accomplish. I need to move the gable on the roof to align with the first story wall. For some reason, the software does not allow this without creating an error.

Sorry, pretty new to this. I was scratching my head wondering why it wouldn't let me edit this. I didn't realize you had to turn off room defaults in the molding menu.
Thanks for your help!

Please see attached. Keep in mind, it's a work in progress.
In the file attached, the gable wall is not aligned with the wall below it. If you edit the dutch distance to base and force the wall to be in-line, this is when the gable will disappear.

Unfortunately, I get the same result....the gable framing and walls disappear.
