I think that the roof I am trying to build here is rather unusual. The following plan file someone created for me me in chief architect and I imported it into Home Designer Pro abd somehow ruined it (his design looked like the one in the image]:

 hi, I’ve been trying for days to figure out how to close the gap in this complex roof. The only way i can figure out to do this seems to  be to create a manual  roof plane and manipulate it (endlessly) by changing the baseline angle, the pitch, and the X – height. Needless to say that this takes forever and that it’s pretty impossible to get this roof plane to perfectly match the surrounding roof planes.  I am attaching some files that I hope  help clarify my problem  ...
