  1. The ceiling you want, is not clear in the image you posted. I suspect that the ceiling plane you want, contradicts the roof planes. You probably already know that Suite does not have the tools to do this. You need to create a ceiling plane at the correct angle in the external modeling software you are using, and import it into your plan. Floor plan suggestion:Who wants a toilet practically in their living room. YUK!
  2. thebeedubya said: "If you look at my last post, you'll see I had to create some invisible walls in order for it to work". That is poor advice. Invisible walls have nothing to do with it.
  3. Do a search in the Knowledge Base Articles.
  4. If you created the 2nd floor, by adding new walls to the existing attic walls, then those attic walls are still designated as"no room definition". Until you can select the area as a "room", no stairwell will be created, because the program can not find the room above the 1st floor.+

On the toolbar, When you hover the mouse over an item you want to use, it will show the keyboard shortcut, or"hot key".

I agree with Rookie65. Your house has not been built on a slab foundation, but on a framed foundation. That is why the door appears 'raised' on the outside. On the inside, why would you expect a 7' ceiling (with a crown molding), to be shown higher than a standard door (with casing)? Do the math.
  8. On floor level 0, draw half walls. Set their thickness and material like concrete walls. Add the stairs. On floor 1Create your terrain perimeter, (shown as hatched region). On floor 1, turn on floor reference, and place a terrain hole, shaped to your "room". (shown as blue) On floor 1, draw an elevation region (shown as orange). Elevations shown are just guesses. You keep leaving the forum, making it difficult to help.
  9. On the attic level, check 'invisible' on the attic wall. On level 1, open each of the small rooms, and check the boxes for ceiling over this room, shelf ceiling, use soffit surface for ceiling.
  10. This is a re-creation based on the floor plan you posted a long time ago. So, dimensions are not accurate, and ceiling heights are guesses. Auto Rebuild Roof is still turned on in the this plan. You should be posting in the Q&A category. If you still have the Suite file, it would be helpful if you uploaded the plan file in Q&A.
  11. This example was done using only the tools that Suite has.
  12. You need to do your own searching in the core library for "plants".
  13. a snip pic of the finished cabinet would be nice!
  14. I guess you did not re-read what I posted. Did I mention a custom countertop in that post?
